Biography:  Who is Amy McEvoy?  How is she qualified to be a school board

I am actively involved in the school district.
    •Past member of PALS
     
•Active member of Castlio Parent Involvement Team
    •Active school and classroom volunteer since our children 
        entered  the Hackmann Early Childhood and Family Center,  
        2005

    •Past member of the District Policy and Communications
        committee

   •Current member of the Human Resources committee
    •Member of the 21st Century task force

      •Has attended many Site visits with District personnel
      •Regularly attends events all over the district
     
Reasons for being a Francis Howell School Board member..
    • Committed to keeping the district the best place it can be for
         our students, staff and taxpayers

     •Believes all students deserve the highest quality of education
         at all learning levels

     •Believes teachers should have the tools necessary to help
         students reach their full potential

     •Committed to keeping the district in sound fi
nancial stature
         while keeping in mind student, teacher, and taxpayer needs

     •Continue parent and community involvement opportunities
         in student learning activities as well
as district initiatives,
         objectives and partnerships









Qualifications:
•children attend Castlio Elementary, grades 4th and 5th.

MO Options teacher at MRH School District since 2008.

           principal of 16 years

           counselor of 30 year

        -Mother-in-law, Pat
, past Hazelwood
           School Board Member of 15 years


•BA in Art Education, May 1995, Graceland University

•MA in Art, May 2001, Lindenwood University


•10 years teaching experience at Hazelwood Central High School as an Art teacher.
Community Involvement:
•Resident of Francis Howell School District since 2002.
 
•Family attends St. Joseph Church, Cottleville, since 2002.


•Served in the Vineyards Subdivision since 2005:  currently a Board Representative and Pool chair.

•Assistant girl scout leader for my daughters troop.

•Actively participates in Shriner’s Hospital fundraising through my husbands membership in Moolah Shrine.  He is currently the president of the Motor Patrol.
